Respected journalist Maria Elena Salinas and Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of GLAAD and one of this year’s co-chairs of our Hispanic Leadership Summit, will discuss what Sarah Kate has learned in her years at the helm of this respected media organization. Following the recent Colorado Springs attack and the legislative challenges, we also will discuss elements and rhetoric that lead to hostility, violence, and injustice and everyone’s role to play to drive real, significant, meaningful cultural change.
During their conversation, you will hear more about GLAAD’s work and our shared goals and how our interconnected communities – LGBTQ, Latinx LGBTQ, and Allies – can continue to work together to drive acceptance, representation and inclusion in all spaces and places of leadership from corporations to government to social advocacy realms, so that we all can live the lives we love.
