New York City, September 15th, 2023 — In a monumental effort to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, a coalition of visionary industry leaders joined to kickstart a month-long celebration that underscores the remarkable influence of the Hispanic community on the United States. This collaborative initiative, driven by the We Are All Human Foundation’s Hispanic Star, brings together esteemed corporate partners such as AARP, Anheuser-Busch, P&G, NRG, Northwell, Salesforce, TD Bank, MLS, Nationwide, IBM, Wells Fargo, Coca-Cola, S&P Global, Telemundo, US Bank, Avocados from Mexico, Google, City National Bank, AMN Healthcare, and Motorola Solutions.
As the second-largest and fastest-growing population segment in the United States, the Hispanic community plays a vital role in the nation’s fabric. Their economic significance cannot be understated, contributing nearly $3 trillion to the GDP. Notably, they constitute 74% of new entrants to the workforce, account for 46% of new homeowners, and establish 8 out of every 10 new small businesses.
The program is a dynamic virtual event designed to illuminate the extraordinary contributions of Hispanics towards the advancement of the United States, serving as a captivating introduction to Hispanic Heritage Month. Esteemed executives will unveil their strategic commitments to expedite progress within the US Hispanic community and enhance the representation of Hispanics within their workforce.
This collective endeavor envisions a unified launch to amplify the narrative surrounding the Hispanic community during this distinguished month, honoring their pivotal role in propelling the nation forward. The digital broadcast of the Opening Ceremony stands as a unique opportunity to foster community unity while corporations and nonprofit organizations pledge their commitment to Hispanic diversity and inclusion.
